Fancy feathers

ColourPop Fancy Feathers Super Shock Shadow Duo ($12.00 for 0.07 ounces) is a double-dose gold-a lighter peach gold with a darker traditional gold-with a shiny holiday-style finish. Both shades are pigmented, creamy, blendable and have excellent abrasion resistance, as I would expect from the Super Shock Shadow formula.

Avant-garde

Avant-garde It is a medium dark gold with a warmer undertone and a slightly shiny metallic finish. The texture is smooth, slightly emollient, and lightweight, because once it comes into contact with my skin, it quickly transforms into a more powdery makeup look. It has opaque color coverage, adheres evenly and blends well along the edges. It stayed on me for more than 10 hours without fading or creases.

ColourPop super shocking shadow It is a cream-based formula with a variety of shades and finishes. More metallic shades are the smoothest for them (they have a “moist” feel), while matte shades are firmer and more clay-like. Almost all the shades I have tried from ColourPop are very long lasting (more than 10 hours of wear, usually before I take it off, or even 14 hours later). Pigmentation may vary from shade to shade, but the average shade is very pigmented.

From the feedback I have seen from readers, many people like them, but some people don’t like them at all. They are not traditional cream eyeshadows because they are denser (more like a sponge) and they work best for me with flat, sturdy synthetic brushes (I like MAC 242 and 249). The brand recommends using fingers for the most colored applications, but I only feel that fingers are necessary in a few shades (usually super shiny).

More matte shades can be on the drier side, with coverage ranging from medium to opaque, although they are generally buildable. Their edges may be a little difficult to spread, although some are very suitable for use.

The shinier shades are the weakest for me because they may be more transparent or harder to apply. Sometimes, they are darker in color and work like other finishes in the formula, but usually, they are more transparent and can only be tapped on more colored eyeshadows to increase the sparkle effect. However, over time, they do tend to have little effect, and occasional shadows have a more modest effect (but still less of an effect than most powder eyeshadows with glitter).

Decoration day

Decoration day It is a bright, lighter peach gold with a strong, warm undertone and shiny metallic finish. It is rich in color, smooth in texture and silky to the touch, but once it is applied to bare skin, it quickly dries into a more powdery makeup effect, ensuring that it does not settle into fine lines, but it can still be mixed. It can Wear for 10 hours without fading or wrinkling.
